Our story
An educational sanctuary where people grow
Misfit Kitchen Gardens is a permaculture educational sanctuary in Ramah, New Mexico — a living classroom where people of any age come to learn self-sufficiency.
Our mission is to create a place where hands-on permaculture farming, natural building, food preservation, and community-building are taught season by season — practical skills anyone can carry home.
On private land in the high desert of Ramah, we host workshops, work days, and gatherings that connect people to the soil and to each other. All ages are welcome; visits are by appointment.

Our promise
We repair when we can, replace only when it pays off, and stand behind every job.
No pressure, no gimmicks — just clear glass, a fair written estimate, and a clean-up before we leave. Where roots take hold and people grow.
